The term bauxite Clinker in the refractory industry usually refers to a bauxite with a calcined Al2O3>=48% and a lower Fe2O3 content. The high bauxite clinker is a calcined bauxite. The clinker is pale yellow and dark grey. It is mainly used as high alumina refractory. It can also be used to make fused brown fused alumina. High bauxite clinker is classified according to the content of AL2O3 and Fe2O3, TiO2, CaO+MgO, K2O+Na2O and other impurities, clinker volume density and water absorption indexes.
